Kindzmarauli is a semi-sweet red wine of appellation of controlled origin (AOC), made with Saperavi grapes grown in the Kindzmarauli micro-viticulture area of the Kakheti region of Georgia.
Kindzmarauli is transparent wine of ripe cherry color with pronounced fruit and berry tones. Aromas of crushed rose petals, violets, plums and wild berries. Pleasant velvety tannins create mild flavor and makes the wine more balanced, piquant and wonderful. This is a juicy wine with structure and finesse. The impression on the palate is one of firmly weighed fruit, a hint of sweetness, with a soft silky finish with a balance of tannin.
